With its built-in Bluetooth, you can effortlessly monitor your battery's voltage and current, adjust settings, and update the charger's firmware straight from your smartphone or tablet using the VictronConnect app. Boasting up to 94% efficiency, the Blue Smart IP22 generates significantly less heat compared to industry standards, and its power consumption drops to a mere 0.5 watts once the battery is fully charged.
Adaptive 6-Stage Charging for Optimal Battery Health
The Blue Smart Charger utilizes a microprocessor-controlled, adaptive 6-stage charging algorithm: test, bulk, absorption, recondition, float, and storage. This advanced feature automatically optimizes the charging process based on how the battery is being used, which helps to extend its life and improve performance. It even has the capability to recover deeply-discharged 'dead' batteries by initiating a charge with a low current. The innovative storage mode engages when the battery has been inactive for 24 hours, reducing the float voltage to minimize gassing and corrosion, which are common causes of premature battery failure.
Versatile and Safe Operation
This charger is compatible with both lead-acid and Li-ion (LiFePO4) batteries. For silent operation, the NIGHT or LOW setting reduces the output current and deactivates the fan. The charger is also protected against overheating; it will automatically reduce its output current as the temperature rises to 50ยฐC, ensuring it won't fail under thermal load. Eleven LEDs provide a clear status indication of the charging process.
