Marchesi di Barolo Barolo Cannubi is een stevige en volle rode wijn uit het fameuze Barolo. In het gebied zijn de geweldige wijnen gemaakt van de nebbiolo-druif. Deze druif staat bekend om zijn lange rijpingsperiode. Deze Barolo is nog jong, fruit en krachtig, maar meestal is deze naar rijping wat eleganter, aardser en bloemiger.

 

Wijngaard Cannubi

Deze Barolo komt van 1 wijngaard en is daarmee een echte single vinyard. Ofwel zijn alle druiven uit één wijngaard geplukt. Dit betekent dat de kwaliteit een stuk hoger is dan een 'normale Barolo'. Daarbij zijn er verschillende voordelen:

  • Strengere selectie van druiven
  • Kortere afstand tot het wijnhuis
  • Rijpere en stabielere pluk

Serveertip Marchesi di Barolo Barolo Cannubi 

Bij het genieten schenk de wijn uit in een karaf en geef deze minimaal 2 tot 6 uur zuurstof. Hoe meer zuurstof, hoe beter de wijn gaat smaken en zal openen. Kortom wees niet te scheutig met zuurstof en geef de wijn tijd, zoals deze nodig heeft.

Bewaaradvies

Deze wijn kan nog 25 tot 35 jaar mee en is een goede wijn om als investering te kopen. Marchesi di Barolo, Barolo Cannubi is een wijn die je echt in je kelder wilt hebben, zowel als jonge wijn, maar ook als gerijpte wijn.
