The Meris Hedra is a three-voice rhythmic pitch shifter perfect for creating intricate pitch-shifting patterns with a deep, customizable interface. Harnessing control over three independently acting pitches, players can activate multi-leveled lead lines. Time divisions for all of the three voices can be accessed to offset rhythms and make for harmonious or discordant voices. Four delay modes, two series modes, and two dual modes tap in for a variety of feedback and delay tones which open up the expressive voices of the Hedra. Whether bright or abrasive, these delays give players unprecedented control over their pitch shifting capabilities.
The micro tune dial accesses control over the tune of each of the three pitch voices. Detuning each voice can create a voice akin to chorus without constant modulation. Pitch correction is another feature of the Hedra that shines for adding complexity to otherwise minimal leads, where the three pitch controls can contribute to an intricate pitch pattern. An expression pedal input and activate control between two Hedra settings when programmed at the toe or heel end of the expression pedal. MIDI control also contributes to an in-depth pitch bending experience.
